In a warm day of June, I was born in the city blazing with denonix regia flowering every street. My hometown, Tainan City, is in the south of Taiwan. I had spent 23 years living and studying there, until I finished my college education at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) and had to leave for Tsinghua University in Beijing for my MA.

Learning new things has been a great interest of mine ever since I was young. In here, “learning new things” is not only through reading books or working hard, but also means engaging in various new field by lots of methods, such as traveling and participating in extra-curriculum, etc.

In my third year of college, a great chance of becoming student anchor came to me. With the honorable experience, I had learned a rough sketch of mess media and even marketing related skills. Besides, I wrote some articles in both Chinese and English, and they were spread in student’s interaction web. While I am not a professional writer, I attempt to record my thoughts and experiences hoping that one day my words can been influentially by the world just like Oprah! And, in this case, I think that studying Journalism and Communication can not only inspire my creativity, but also teach me how to make my idea, my product, be seen in the world.

After four years in NCKU, I found my great love toward my hometown, Tainan, and therefore I study City Branding Communication with professor Fan Hong, who is famous with city branding and already has many successful cases by helping cities marketing themselves, in order to develop the tertiary Industry in Tainan and broadcast the beautiful city to the world tourists.
